“Twenty years ago, there was a boom for mountain bikes in Vancouver,” says Anna, co-owner of Edmonds Cycle. “We have nice mountains here, and lots of trails.” Since then, cycling has exploded in the lower mainland, with different accessories and types of bicycles waxing and waning in popularity. Today, the trend is towards road bikes and hybrids, but the industry has a history of sudden change and variation.
“Every four or five years there’s a reversal,” Anna explains. “We change with the times. It’s supply and demand.” Being flexible and staying on top of trends in the cycling industry has allowed Anna and her husband Gib to outfit Edmonds Cycles’ customers with the most current and popular bikes and cycling accessories.

I brought in my older downhill mountain bike and Leon was very efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, honest, and straight to the point. That's what I call service. Now I'm ready for another season of fun. Thank you
The mecanic was very knowledgeable. He did a great job re-aligning my back tire. Very reasonably priced and they did not try to up sell me anything else. My family trust this business to be up front and honest, we highly recommend Edmonds' Cycle.
Brought my bike in for repair of an issue, despite charging me for the repair the issue was not resolved and caused damage to the new parts I was forced to purchase. I brought the bike back in again they stated it was fixed. 10 m from the door I could tell it was not. When they called me back regarding the issue they tried to charge me for the new parts that had to be replaced because the issue was not fixed and caused damage. Unfortunately William got irate for no reason and is refusing to come in and talk to us, we have tried explaining that we have changed the whole drive train, put in new parts at cost and no profit to us, not charged any labor and the bike was ready in time for him to attend any events he had intended to attend. All William had to do was come in and pick up his bike and let us explain what was wrong with it.

It’s a small family run business and thorough attention to details was given. It is definitely, much better than department stores. The price point is unmatched anywhere in lower mainland. Bought a new mountain bike and i love it. Staff were helpful to get me ready for the mountain, even recommended some routes to try out.
This place is great! Nothing beats their customer service. They actually took the time to figure out what I needed and find the perfect bike! The Owner Gib, is very knowledgable and helpful! Tons of selection and reasonable prices too!
