AVOID BEST AUTO -Beware of Unnecessary Repairs!!

I decided to try this place because it was close and cheap and I needed to get my safety done. My last check was 3 months ago but I decided to change the ownership to another member of my family and needed another safety check. When I went there, within 20 minutes, the woman informed me that her mechanic husband said I needed $700 of repairs. I thought that was insane since I haven't driven much in the past 3 months when I passed the safety test with my regular mechanic. She still charged me the $60 + hst and was insistent that I get my repairs done there. I said no because I prefer to take it to my regular guy and she said they'd determine if my repairs were "good enough" if I brought my car back to claim my certificate. Overall, awful service and would never recommend this place to anyone! I ended up driving to my regular mechanic right after and he said their claim was bogus. I wish I went there instead of being scammed out of $60+ and wasting my time.
