Bangkok Thai Cuisine was fantastic! From the moment we stepped into the restaurant, the service was excellent. The owner is lovely and so personable, along with her staff. We started off with the Appetizer Assortment which was soooo good and made us excited for what was to follow. We opted for the Pad Thai and we were not disappointed – it was perfectly prepared with just enough sauce and plenty of chicken and tiger shrimps. Finally, we had the Chicken Cashew and the Mixed Vegetables. Both were excellent! Overall, everything was absolutely delicious and so fresh. We will definitely be returning! Lire plus

We discovered this restaurant tonight and enjoyed a lovely evening. The decor is lovely and the tables give one a feeling of privacy. The service was excellent as was the food. The extensive menu incorporates something for everyone, from very mild to spicy. We especially enjoyed the ambiance with the low lighting, suble music and comforting food. We WILL be back soon! I loved the food at Golden Bell. Newmarket has a lot of Thai restaurants and while most of them are good, I feel this one greatly stands out as the best. They have a very inexpensive lunch menu and a quaint dining room if you don't opt for take-out. The service is nothing spectacular as far as dining in goes but it is passable. Stopped in after my wife found it on the 'net. I had the Chicken Pad Thai which is by far the tastiest dinner I've eaten in a long time. Filling too, almost needed a doggie bag. This is my first review, which I felt compelled to write seeing a negative one here. Don't believe it, this place is clean, nicely decorated and you can't beat the food. One thing that most reviews on here have not mentioned about Port Perry Thai is that they have a great lunch menu! There's something like 10 different choices, each with hot & sour soup and spring roll, for $7.95! When I worked in Port Perry I used to go here at least once a week, the food is absolutely awesome. The one complaint I would have is that they play classical music, which in itself isn't so bad, but they keep the volume at the lowest possible level! Weird. Lire plus

my friends and i love this place! the food is always good and the waitresses are all so friendly and funny! they're also very accommodating since i have a ton of allergies. (not to mention, their portions are HUGE) sometimes the food takes a bit to come out when it's busy, but that's always understandable. overall, it's a great place to have a casual lunch date with your girlfriends, they're never pushy about patrons staying too long. Love this restaurant! Best green curry beef i've ever had. Just the right amount of spices and if you don't like it super spicy, they can make it milder for you. Appetizer combo platter was simply divine! Cold rolls, satay's, shrimp rolls etc., I could have eaten the entire thing as a meal! My husband had the Thai BBQ Steak - all I can say is WOW...so delish! Cooked to perfection with the most delicious Thai sauce for dipping.The cashew nut chicken is the best i've ever had, so many flavor's, it is heaven in a bowl! Very delicious and very authentic.
