Charming atmosphere, beautiful chandeliers and old stone walls covered with vintage black and white photos. The food was excellent, and our server was absolutely lovely. A bit pricey, but really a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note is the two-hour limit on dining, which is best to know about in advance. This is a low lit, romantic, swish place. Not too big, and sometimes not too busy due to its location I think. But its a secret that a few people I have met RAVE about. Good italian food is not difficult, it's just about the ingredients and l'amore. These dishes I had were outstanding, and you know that feeling when it surprises you?! I can't wait to go back. I've been to Brownstone's several times now, and it's always a good experience. Friendly staff, and good food. Their brunch gets busy on Sundays, and deservedly so, but we were able to make a reservation the night before for our not-so-small party. The banana and Nutella pancakes were delicious, but topped with syrup, were a bit rich for my delicate stomach. Good fresh orange juice. The decor is lively and interesting, though sitting near the front door can be drafty in cool weather. Lire plus
