From the moment Sunterra Market opened this summer, it has been one of my most frequent destinations and here's why.
Versatility.
There is no other market that offers the range of services, setting and overall service in the city period.
The location is separated into 3 distinct floors:
The main is a market that features a deli counter, bakery, produce, butcher, salad bar and tons of other goods.
The second floor offers cooking classes and group functions that allow an in house chef to feature their skills.
The top level has one of Calgary's coolest patios and is located in proximity to their buffet style line and higher end restaurant.
There is also a full feature bar and a large dining section.
All in all the staff is great, management cares and there is no other place that matches their experience.

I do not usually go to Sobey's. But I must recommend this one, for their great and outstanding customer service. They helped me find some pre-made tarts and even made recommendations for which fruit to buy. If i'm ever in the area again, I will def. stop by!

Always very friendly staff. The products maybe slightly overpriced, but then you do realize that you are not shopping in No Frills! The quality of the fresh products is always very high. I love their beef and fresh Atlantic salmon, even though it happens that they are out of stock at times. Fantastic deals on the Lobster Tails for $25, Haagen Dazs 2 for $10 and recently they added up Tropicana Juice on a regular sale. You do get what pay for and I would definitely recommend it to everybody!

I have been looking for a grocery store now for a few years that has great produce. I have stopped looking, this location has the best in the city, for good fruit and veggies check them out. Other than that the store is always clean!

Most people forget that Safeway has hot food and yummy salads for lunch. If you are ever in downtown and you find yourself hungry, just pop over to Safeway. They have chinese food, indian food and simple sandwiches and salads. Their food is always fresh and the staff is always really good!

Staff exceptionally well trained in product knowledge. This store has cheerful and friendly staff who go out of their way to help the customer.
not so with other competitors in the area and their prices are well priced in the market place. fantastic range of special dietary products and the store is well set out.
