January 18, 2019, 7pm, the food would be better if not the bone my partner has find in the white chicken sandwich, on the top of this staff came over to wash spilled water on the floor of the table across our table, using strong pines soll solution, the bacet was parked next to our table but could be parked at the some an empty tables away from our food, The wet floor was left to dry out on its own,
Horrible customer service . Worst I ever came across when it was blatantly Swiss chalets fault . After having to drive back across town I was offered a can of pop for the inconvenience . That was insulting and wasted an hour of my bust day
The service is friendly although the food takes a long time to get to the table. Waiting is long. The 1/4 chicken are more like 1/4 pigeon for size, especially at this location.
I have been to this location many times however, this time I wasn't too keen on the food or the service. We arrived at the restaurant and were seated right away. We were given menus however, our waitress didn't come to take our orders for at least 10 minutes, and it wasn't even busy! When she came to take our orders, she didn't introduce herself, all she said was 'What would you like to eat?' She definitely wasn't pleasant at all. Then, when our food came, it was the wrong order, and we had to wait even longer to get the right order. When it came, the fries were cold and soggy. The waitress who brought us our food was different, she didn't even introduce herself to us. We were confused with the switch in waitresses with no explanation. I wasn't pleased with the service or the food. It's a shame as I love Swiss Chalet but am not too keen on this location.
This is not one of the best Swiss Chalets to go to. I ordered a Shirley Temple here and they brought me a clear drink with a splotch of red floating around in it, they had even stirred it or put on an orange and cherry. The food took a while to come and we asked for multigrain rolls and they gave us white rolls. I asked for extra fries instead of the cranberry jelly (Festive Special) and they gave me cranberry. The women's bathroom had an overflowing garbage. The server was friendly but I think they had her waiting on too many tables because she was dashing around from table to table as if in a frenzy. She forgot to bring us our lemon water to wash our hands in.
