okay...so I say I will never go back....BUT...the...

okay...so I say I will never go back....BUT...the food is good!!!!!!! The service is the worst....always has been ( we had an incodent two years ago were a server actually swore while taking our ordre) but any way...we went on monday Sept.7th for my birthday....got there at 4pm....hardly no one in the place, still took 11 minutes for them to sit us!!! then we got to our table 15 minutes before drink order taken( needless to say we put in our food order at the same time).....The shame of it all is there food is GOOD...but come on swiss chalet get some decent wait staff!!!!!!....we go to the sc in Woodstock Ont and the service there is always wonderful!!!!!!!!

I have been here twice recently, and both times...

I have been here twice recently, and both times it was absolutely terrible! The food took forever to arrive, even when the restaurant was half empty, and when it did come, it was digusting! The fries were cold and soggy and the cole slaw tasted rancid, and like it had been "previously served". The portion size was also miniscule compared to other Swiss Chalet restaurants. When I mentioned all this to the server, she simply said "the cole slaw is kept in the fridge, and she watched the kitchen staff put the fries on our plates", with no other effort to rectify our poor meal.

service is always good, but last time both me and...

service is always good, but last time both me and my friend ordered the ribs and were both sick before we were even able to leave the restaurant. Totally ruined the place for me.

I've never had a problem at this restaurant, the food is always great, the service is always wonderful and it hardly ever takes very long considering how busy it usually is. Our server was very attentive, brought refills without asking and didn't make us feel rushed.
