food is over priced... its more like youre paying for the location than the actual meal. However, the staff and service was great!!! Hopefully the over priced food goes towards the servers
I've gone twice because it's a neat meeting spot for friends ... the food always disappoints, however. Service is just okay, I would meet at another place before recommending Barangas again.
I went here a few years ago and found the service terrible! Waiting, waiting , waiting for any service. Definately not satisfied! They lost ours, and our campanions patronage!
There was five adults and one teen. Started with ordering drinks, we all ordered an alcohol beverage and the teen a non-alcohol drink. All the drinks came except the non-alcohol one. We waited to get our waitress and as soon as we saw her we told her the one drink never came. We waited another 10 or 15 minutes and still no drink. We stopped another waitress and told her, still nothing came. We saw our waitress again, stopped her, and of course she said, oh, I'll get it, finally it came. That was probably a half to 45 minute ordeal for that one non-alcoholic drink to finally come. Then our meals started to arrive and it was okay but, not anything to brag about. We didn't have our waitress come back and we were done our meal and wanting to pay. We again had to flag down our waitress to bring us our bill, long process again. We decided that we were not going to give a usual recommended tip and then proceeded to leave. We were at the road ready to cross and the waitress ran out chasing us to tell us that gratuities were not included. She was a persistent young waitress and we explained to her the reason and she seemed a little surprised by this. I was a little surprised that a waitress would chase anyone down because they didn't receive a good tip. I would hope things will get better and maybe down the road try to visit again, but, not in the near future. It does have a really nice atmosphere being by the water.
Great location. Good music. First set of drinks came reasonably quickly. Unfortunately the second set took over 25 minutes and one drink was missing. We never got the missing drink but we're charged for it as well as one we didn't order. The food was all wrong. My wife ordered a Gyro with a side ceasar salad, this came with the wrong salad. When asked to change for the correct salad the meal came back minus the sauce that was on the original dish. I ordered chicken with a side ceasar. My sister ordered a ceasar salad with chicken added. When our orders arrived they both were ceasar salad with chicken, not the grilled chicken breast with a side. Upon questioning the fact that we ordered different items we were told they were the same. I questioned the cost and was satified by being told it would be the same price as the ceasar with chicken. Ceasar was priced at 6.99. We were both charged 14.99 each. The manager told us that was the price here and that was that. They took off the never gotten beers. The managers attitude was as bad as the service. Never again.
