Best Friend Chinese Restaurant

i'm a regular to this restaurant. The biggest reason for me to go back to this place is the FOOD. I don't know the owner personally, but have seen him coming out of the kitchen a couple of times. I was often introduced for their new dishes and promotions. Most of them were beyond expectations. The stuff out of the regular menu is always above standard and satisfying. Service wise, I can't say it is always good, but above average I have been there either when they are super busy or super quiet. When they are busy, the service could be a little slower - but I guess it happens at any restaurant. Overall, it is a decent place to go to, expecially if your looking for some authentic chinese - particular HK style or I should say Southern Style.

Good chinese food

I go there often for this is a wonderful chinese restaurant in Mississauga. The food here is good and it always give me some surperise, the chef always change some special food for seasonal menu. I like that cuz always has some nice try. Also they changed the waitress it looks young and the service is faster than before. the decoration in the restaurant are so different with others , some funny face painting on the wall it make me happy . I like it ! will go there with my friend.

What happened to this restaurant?

We ate here once a year ago and it was ok. Went for mother's day and boy what a mistake. We thought it would be packed but the place was practically empty for a holiday weekend. No Wonder! The service was so slow, like a 40 min wait which is ridiculous since there was like 4 other families there. The food was either too salty, too sour or over drenched in sauce, and the prices was so high. We usually get twice the amount of food for what we paid for in other places. I think they changed management and cooks cause I don't remember it being that bad? but baby it was bad....When it comes down to it, if the food is bad, then its not worth going.
