Birthday Dinner

I took my wife and her out of town parents to Churchills for her birthday and was treated to a wondeful evening. My father-in-law is a tough critic when it comes to food and service and he was impressed with the entire night. We all agreed that this was the best meal we have had in a very long time. The steak and scallops i had were cooked perfectly and my wife will be attempting to mimic the sauces at home for months to come. If only we could have them cater to our guests every week. Unfortunately Churchillls is something we can only enjoy a few times a year.

Very nice food, service & ambiance looking out...

Very nice food, service & ambiance looking out over Lake Nipissing. The pan-fried gnocci was incredible; better than anything I've had in good Italian restaurants in the GTA.

I took valued customers to Churchill's for dinner...

I took valued customers to Churchill's for dinner and we were not disappointed. The service was prompt, friendly and impeccable. If I had one complaint it was that my steak was served medium when I asked for medium rare. Not a huge deal as this detail can be highly subjective. The quality and flavour of the meat was very good. A great place for a special occaision, unexpected treat or an important business dinner.

I love to eat lol and this is the tops of...

I love to eat lol and this is the tops of restaurants in town for a reason. I wish we could go back more than once every valentines day! By far the best pasta i have had in a long time. The homemade breads(i think?) and chocolate mousse cake was amazing!!!

We have been going to Churchills for many years...

We have been going to Churchills for many years, and the food and service has always been pleasant and delicious. The bison was cooked perfect and tender and the calamari dish was something the city is lacking...flavorful, fresh and non breaded! My Wife was extremely happy to see that the soup de jour was her favorite on this night...Goatcheese, sweet potato and pinenut. The creme brulee(which was a lot cheaper than "$15") was a great nightcap seeing as neither one of us drink. Overall our experience was the same as always...a wonderful evening and a reason why we continue to take the 2 hour trip north.
