Went here day before our wedding in Stratford. Love the classic atmosphere. Service was great, but food was just average chinese fare. Not a big chinese food selection in Stratford area i guess.
I love Genes for Take-out but when we go in and eat there, the service is friendly and the food well prepared. Some things they do better than others but overall the food quality is consistent and suits many palettes .
I am a true fan of Genes Restaurant. Infact myself and 3 of my friends try to make a visit once every 2 months. The food is too die for!
Although, ONE time when my boyfriend and I took a visit we entered through the back door and chose a seat at a front table. No one gave us a menu or asked us what we wanted to eat! Unfortunetly we got up and left after 45 minutes of waiting for service.
This is a ONE time event, every other visit has been EXCELLENT with terrific food!!
