Richard Jaffray has always dreamed big. His desire to become a successful entrepreneur, coupled with his passion for the restaurant industry, motivated him to open his first restaurant more than 30 years ago. But it didn’t take long before he set his sights on a bigger concept. At 23, he opened Cactus Club Café in North Vancouver, BC. and although he has since opened more throughout central and western Canada, it wasn’t until October 2015 when he finally came to Toronto and opened a majestic 500-seat restaurant in the heart of the financial district, officially making Cactus Club Café a national hot spot.
