We showed up out of the blue and were seated right away. Waiter was very friendly and was very careful to consider my wifes wheat allergy and make it known to the kitchen. We found the food to be quite good. Only thing I would change is perhaps a wider selection of fresh vegetables with entrees rather than a sprout of broccoli and a carrot.
We have been in the past - but will never return!!! The potatoes were cold & uncooked (obviously canned); the meat was barely look warm & the vegetables cold & rubbery - obviously a freezer blend - when you are paying this price for a meal you definitely expect better - no one in our party will be back
The service was excellent but the quality of food left a lot to be desired. The complimentary garlic bread was drenched in oil and very salty. The ribs didn't have a lot of flavour and just tasted boiled. We were informed that the steak couldn't be served rare, medium rare was the closet they could get. Which indicates that they pre-cook their steaks, not very impressive considering the price of their entrees. They crab legs were WAY over priced, and I eat at some top notch restaurants! They were rubbery and overcooked. The garlic butter served with the crab was so salty I couldn't eat it. Then for desert I orderd the blueberry cheescake, what a mistake!! It was so old the cheese was like rubber instead of like mousse. And the blueberry compote was like glue. It had been in the fridge so long that the cheese had absorbed various flavours from other food in the fridge. When I sent it back, the server didn't even let me explain what was wrong with it. It was like she already knew it was off and she was fully expected my response. For the cost of the meal I felt the quality of the food was ridiculous. Non of the people in my party will be returning to this restaurant.
I have visited this restaurant numerous times, and will continue to go back. Every time I go they make me feel like family. I always have loads of fun when I go. This is "the place" for steaks, although their lobster and crab legs are great also. When I go I take my 9 year old daughter. Everyone there treats her like royalty, they have never made her feel unwelcome. I have yet to have a bad experience, and don't know how anyone can find Steve condecending.
Excellent place to dine!! Fantastic food, wonderful service. I honestly don't know why there are others who have had a problem with the staff- I found them to be timely, polite and respectful, regardless of how many people were in my party or in the restaurant. Two thumbs WAY up.
