Chair massages are great when you don't feel like the ordeal of undressing and getting all slathered up with oil. For that reason, I often stop by the little spa places offering 15 min of chair for $10 or so. My typical experience is that these places never employ RMTs and the massages are pretty standard procedure and routine. In other words, not great.
I was therefore delighted with my chair massage experience at Bloor Healthcare Centre & Spa, on the north side of Bloor just east of Jane.
Will is an amazing RMT who both knows what he's doing and adjusts his massage to adapt to the specific needs of his client. I was distinctly aware of him accurately locating my trouble spots (shoulder blades, neck and lower back in my case) and beginning to focus his work there. His massage alternates in technique and style and included the use of his strong grip, knuckles and elbows.
I cannot praise this place enough. Beyond the quality of the massage itself, the venue is clean, quiet and professional, with soft music playing in the background and a refreshing glass of water offered after the massage.
I will be a regular client and who knows, I may just opt for the table massage next time!

I have been going and continue going to Nourishing Thyself Health & Wellness Clinic for body sugaring hair removal and it is a great experience, no rashes or allergic reaction, unlike the experience I had in the past with waxing and laser treatments.
I highly recommend Nourishing Thyself Health & Wellness Clinic for a ambiance with great welcoming experience with tea and healthy treats (including gluten-free), an environment of relaxation, professionalism, high quality services and products.
